About Me
I am currently CEO and a founder of Know More Media, an online media company that publishes unique online content in vertical business-to-business markets. I also publish a blog on leadership principles called LeaderNotes, Lyrical Wisdom or at my my personal blog.
I have been an executive in small businesses and start-ups for the past several years. From 2002 to 2004, I was a partner at Double Ewe LLC, where I also served as President of Flexi-Liner Corporation, a manufacturer of flexible, corrosive-resistant polymer liners for large industrial containment that was acquired by Double Ewe. Previously, I was a founding partner at venture capital firms Aspen Grove Capital and BizCradle, LLC. From 1998 to 2000 I was President and CEO of North Sky, Inc., an Internet user community that started as freeservers.com and grew to become a top 50 web site. We were eventually acquired by About, Inc. Prior to NorthSky, I was CFO and a Director at Inari, Inc., a provider of home networking products (eventually acquired by Thomson).
I started my career as an investment banker and over a period of seven years worked for Furman Selz (San Francisco), Paine Webber (Los Angeles) and Kidder Peabody (New York). I have expertise in building value in companies and have had plenty of experience raising capital and in advising middle-market buyers and sellers. I received an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from the University of Utah.
